My story is short and straight to the point. My son and only child is an autistic adult.

I am frustrated that there are no facilities where autistic adults can go for recreational activities, social events, etc. in New York City.

A place like the YMCA would be ideal for autistic adults. I just wish that someone would take notice and build such a place strictly for autistic adults. This would be a place where they could dress up and attend social dances, a place where they could enjoy group activities like a movie or game time, and a place that would provide access to exercise equipment all in one location.
